The AMWC congress is one of the largest international events focused on aesthetic and antiaging medicine. From the 30th of March to the 1st of April, top experts and companies from around the world joined together to share their knowledge and showcase their latest innovations.

BioScience was excited to be a part of this prestigious event and to present the latest breakthroughs in the field of aesthetic medicine. On Friday 31st, at 4:30 p.m., the German pioneer hosted a symposium with international masters of aesthetics diving deep into the safe journey towards patient satisfaction.

The aim of the symposium was to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of thelatest techniques and trends in aesthetic medicine, with a particular focus on patient safety andsatisfaction. By bringing together leading experts from around the world, BioScience offered a tribune with new techniques and knowledge that benefited patients, doctors, and the industry as a whole.

Dermatologist from the USA, Dr.Hema Sundaram, opened the session with the importance of rheology for face and body HA fillers for clinical implications.

Next up on the agenda, Italian Plastic Surgeon and Head of the BioScience Scientific Board, Dr.Piero Crabai, performed a live demonstration focusing on a 3D facial augmentation.

As leaders in body fillers, we  presented another live demonstration focusing on reshaping the gluteal area with a transgender patient. Italian Plastic Surgeon Dr. Massimiliano Brambilla was the one performing this procedure. He was accompanied by German Plastic Surgeon Dr.Konstantin Frank, who showed attendees the whole treatment through an ultrasound.

Cosmetic Doctor from the UK, Dr. Rosh, gave us a deep insight into complications and treatment with hyaluronidase, the antidote to hyaluronic acid. He was on stage with Influencer from the UK, Amy Champan, to share the whole patient journey through a face-to-face interactive testimonial.

Finally, our experts joined together in an interesting debate, including a question-and-answers session to tackle the responsibility of the patients, injectors, and companies in this industry and their repercussions on today’s market.
