IMCAS World Congress 2022 is over, and as per usual, we were delighted with your participation and involvement throughout the whole weekend.

From the BioScience team, we want to say thank you to every individual who set foot in our booth and engaged with our experts and doctors. Needless to say, this was a great opportunity for us to interact and reinforce relationships with our distributors, doctors, and partners from all around the world.

“It was a great organization. After more than two years of absence, we have had the chance to meet face to face with our distributors, partners, and our worldwide KOLs. It was a great success in our symposium, we had a full house symposium with innovative content, everyone was so engaged, and the booth was busy all the time. BioScience successfully participated in this year’s 23rd edition of IMCAS Paris, from the 3rd to the 5th of June. During an intense few days, our team had the pleasure to meet again with distributors and doctors as well as establish new relationships that hopefully will lead to collaborations in the near future.

After more than 2 years without being able to celebrate this congress in person, we decided to take this opportunity to innovate and invest our resources in developing the most valuable content for our attendees. This hard work and dedication came to life through compelling conversations with visitors at our booth alongside the inspirational symposiums held by our brands HYAcorp and Genefill.

• IMCAS Activities

On Friday, the newest generation of soft hyaluronic acid fillers inaugurated the room for the symposium with lectures and two live demonstrations. Thanks to Italian plastic surgeon Dr. Fabio Fantozzi, we could learn everything regarding the hands and how to rejuvenate them using Genefill Contour.  

Next up on the agenda, Greek plastic surgeon, Dr. Athanasios Christopoulos showed us the benefits and advantages of using Genefill DX, with its key ingredient, the dextranomer, which helps with the production of collagen and elastin.

Finally, Genefill Contour Plus closed the session with a live demonstration of buttocks augmentation on a transgender patient with the help of Romanian London-based plastic surgeon Dr. Ducu Botoaca.

HYAcorp was responsible for the second symposium held by BioScience on June 4th. Italian plastic surgeon Dr. Francesco Marchetti initiated this session with a live demonstration of hip dip correction. Later on, Professor Michael Atlan from France gave a lecture about the safety when it comes to hyaluronic acid injections.

Lastly, Italian plastic surgeon Dr. Piero Crabai performed a live demonstration which consisted of a facial demonstration using HYAcorp face fillers.

• Workshops and Lectures

Innovation and research are one of our core values within the company’s goals, that’s why this year at IMCAS we decided to host two workshops on Friday and Saturday.

The first session was a cadaver workshop performed by anatomist from the USA, Dr. Sebastian Cotofana. He was performing live dissections on the cadaver while at the same time, Dr. Piero Crabai performed live injections on the gluteal area of a patient. It was a great outlook to appreciate the anatomy and possible risks of this treatment.

Finally, Dr. Fabio Fantozzi hosted an Injectables session grant followed by a lecture on inflammatory reactions on Saturday afternoon.

Our Gala Dinner on Friday night was a total success, where doctors, partners, and distributors could enjoy a dinner full of music, DJ, and dancers.
